which Digi CAMERA to buy in 250-300 US$

I want to buy a digital camera to capture memorable occasions and to capture natural beauty while hiking/picnics. Range is 250-300 US$. Which camera brand and model you suggest. What about SONY?

fuji v10 - My camera, a sweet fuji v10
I like my Fuji V10. Its $250 and has a massive LCD screen. It shoots very quickly and takes great close ups and decent landscapes. It's a breeze to use as well. Heres a pic and some stats: http://www.dpreview.com/news/0601/06010403fuji_v10.asp

I would look at Canon. I have a Canon Power shot A530. It is my back up- camera that I take most places with me. I think it is a great camera. Last time I checked it was $150. It is a 5 mp camera that uses 2 AA batteries and an SD Card.
