can we really prove that we are conscious??

Are we really conscious? If i ask u this question and u say yes...how can i know that u are not lying? we all know that language generates conscious,cognition,reason etc....akin to a computer algorithm. so probably we are just an entity with a finely tuned,flexible and efficient algorithm and not really conscious. There is no evidence or reason to believe that we are conscious and not a high end algorithm.
