How did you react when you first saw the star beside your name?

I was full of bliss when I saw the star next to my name. It does not only signify my reputation in the mylot community but also reflects how many persons have allotted time in rating you positively or negatively. When I started, I did not only aimed for the monetary returns; I wanted a star! I wanted my star to shine. It does not only motivate me to be better in my opinions and bright in generating topics, the star is my guide. It is my yardstick and gauges how farI have become. How about you? Do you also value your star that much? What was your reaction when your first had the star? Are you also proud of yourself for reaching this far? I want to know your reactions.

I was extremely surprised as well I see star next to my name that time. It was rated 6 and I really don't know what it signifies. I just do responses and I am not aware of even rating some people, until my start beginning to rise up, when I reach nine and 10 that was the time I fully understand the value of stars and I feel indebted to all those people who take time to rate me.I also rate a lot of dicussions and responses now. I had learned my lessons.

Congradulations on getting your star. I do value the number in my star. I look at it everyday to make sure that it has not dropped. I dont know what I would do if it drops down a number. I work hard for that number.
