i think u meant it for the roads....for roads there needs sometimes rigid pavements(pavement means just the top portion of the road).so normally, concrete is used as the rigid pavement.sometimes other materials are also used as the rigid pavement.

It is a pavement madeup of concrete..It can be Plain cement concrete or reinforced cement concrete. it depends upon the type of traffic and its intensity.
