My friends think I'm nuts to like Judge Judy

Yes they laugh when I say, its 4:00 PM, it's time to watch Judge Judy. I like the way she sees through people who are trying to fool her. She is so direct in her questioning and gives the impression that she knows exactly what she is doing. It's fun to watch the people squirm and swallow as she challenges them to see the truth. I like the way she gives advice during her counsel and directs people to look at their behavior. My friends laugh about it. So I made a picture of them listening to Judge Judy as if they all respected her as a judge.

Don't feel bad, I get the same laughs when I watch Judge Judy, they know at 4pm the tv is mine. I try and watch religiously everyday and even had the oportunity to catch her on the Ellen show on Tuesday. I like to watch her because she is not afraid to tell it like it is, instead of sugar coating it like some of the other Judges on TV do.

I get some bad responses when I say I like Judge Judy but I do have some friends who like the show too. I love the way she doesn't take any nonsense from anyone and doesn't fall for sob stories. They pick some wacky cases for her show, some of them would never get to any other court I'm sure.

I started watching The People's Court when Judge Whapner presided. Then that show took a break and Judge Judy was introduced. I watch this show religiously (I have a job so I record it daily). It's a half hour's worth of learning for me. She is funny and sharp. My after work unwind time is taken up by this show. I've incorporated her saying, "If it doesn't make sense, then it's not true." Plus, the title of her first book is hysterical. She's a smart woman and would probably do wonders if she were to become a political figure/leader.
