Yesterday, i was late in my 7am class. i woke up at 6:30am, when I got t school, it was already 7:45am. My professor asked me why i was late. It answered back. I said, there was a heavy traffic downtown. so, its over. as i saw him the next day, i felt guilt for not telling the truth. I can't look at him in the eye. So that made me think... why do people lie? 1.) People lie because they are afraid to tell the truth and accept it. They use lies as a defense mechanism for them t escape the truth. 2.) People lie to cover up their previous lies. 3.) Peple lie to boost their self confidence. They talk of things which are not true because they want to show they are also on top. 4.) People lie because they've gotten use to it. Its somewhat part of their self. 5.) People lie because they are refuse to admit theit mistakes. 6.) People lie because they are ashamed to tell of what they really are. I think this are the primary reasons why people lie. Of course, all of us has his own reasons. How about you? why do you lie?

I do not lie. I have to tell the truth no matter the situation. I can't have that on my conscious. However, I will not say anything at all if I know telling the truth will really hurt someone. If that is suppressing the truth, than I'm guilty of that but my conscious is still clean. ‹(°¿°)›
