Trailers do mislead an example of this is Nacho Libre.The trailer did contain all the funny parts of the movie, it summed up all the good parts that it was kinda useless watching the whole movie.

yes, most of the time movie trailers are misleading to the audiences. They make it look like the movie is something really worth watching or that it's really funny but when you finally go to the cinemas and watch the movie, usually, the good parts are the ones they've already shown on the trailer.

I agree, I have, on more than one occasion watched a movie because the trailer made it look really good, only to find the film is really bad. One in particular was 'The Village' which in the trailer, looked terrifying and intriguing, only when I watched the movie, found it to be nothing like the trailer had suggested and in reality was completley boring!
