I always hear complaints from people about the cost associated with microsoft products such as office and windows. People seem to love to use that excuse when it comes to defending there use of pirated software. I personally believe that that is a total load of rubbish! I have owned my LEGAL copy of windows XP for 4 years now and i have recieved more than i could have ever asked for from the technical support team at Microsoft. From the first day i purchased my copy of windows I have always recieved prompt advice and solutions to the computing problems that i have faced and i think the price tag is well worth it. What are your views on the matter? Is poverty an excuse for piracy

i think that u have said right thing.
microsoft provides technical support to the ones who have purchased its original cds and they have the right to say anything to microsoft. if a person who is using illegal cd of microsoft then he definitely has no right to say anything against microsoft. poverty is not an excuse for piracy but the taste has changed a lot in the nations which have just started using the computers. they have always been provided free softwares and they don't know that copyrighted s/w have a benefit of technical support and other things so they need not worry and this is what comsumers don't know that copyright infringement laws are very strict.
so as long as we r using pirated s/w we don't have any right to complain anyone else except us.
