Minced pork wrapped in pickled cabbage leaves
You need two pickled cabbages,pork meat with fat,oil or lard,bacon,tablespoon of rice,dill,black peppercorns.
chop or mince the meat,mix with cocked rice,one onion(optional),chopped dill,ground pepper,juniper berries.
wrap small quantities of meat mixture in cabbage leaves.
on the bottom of a casserole lay a few cabbage leaves,then fit the wrapped meatballs
in a dishpan fry chopped cabbage in oil or lard.mix in bacon,arrange on top of the wrapped meatballs.
continue with another layer of meatballs wrapped in cabbage and fried cabbage.
add tomato sauce,bacon slices,juniper berries .boil uncovered for a couple of hours adding water to form a sauce.
