if you are not careful in choosing the right incinerators, it would do more harm than good to the environment, worse to the health of people living around the facility. a case was once hot in the Philippines were a lot of abnormalities in the babies born in a certain community where an incinerator facility is present which caters to medical waste.
one alternative though is to use anaerobic incinerators which would not emit harmful fumes to the environment but extra vigilance should be practiced by the citizens around the area for any irregularity observed.

A wide range of incinerator systems ranging from Cremators to automatic incinerators for infectious medical and pathological waste from hospitals and clinics, low level radioactive waste from nuclear installations, as well as industrial and municipal Garbage is very much needed in India. Lack of this the pollution is alarmingly going in high volumes. The future of India with heavy population may pose different threat to the world WHO with new viral infections.
