favorite character

It would have to be Hagrid. I think. There are so many good characters in the books that picking one is not easy. Overall though I love how Hagrid is so loyal and trusting. He's a gentle giant in many ways. He's just one that sticks with me even after the books are done.

I think aragog, is pretty cool, i mean he's a giant talking spider. And he tries to eat Harry which is always a plus in my book. Also the Basilisk, who tries to kill harry The hungrian horntail, who tries to kill harry Fluffy, who tries to kill harry The troll, who tries to kill harry Crouch jr, who tries to kill harry Lupin as a werewolf, who tries to kill harry Draco Malfoy, who tries to kill harry Lucius Malfoy, who tries to kill harry Wormtail, who tries to kill harry Tom riddle, who tries to kill harry Voldemort, who tries to kill harry btw anyone who didn't catch on, i don't like harry.

my personal favourite was dumbledore i also love sirius ,james and lily

I think this may be bias on my part because my fellow Harry Potter nerds that know me well tell me I'm like him in some way...but Remus Lupin is my favorite character

In my case u dint really hafta mention dose characters at al. My fav isn't among dem anyway. My fav character in d books is definately dumbledore, for his wisdom and calmness on such difficult situation has really helped every1 overcome dose hurdles. I'm really interested in knowing how things wil turn out widout him

Hmmm..as everybody is saying there are a lot of lovable characters inside Harry Potter. There's the fat lady, the ghosts of the 4 houses, Prof. McGonagall, even dudley and aunt petunia. But I'd say that Neville Longbottom would be my favorite character. It looks like that he's always messing up or making mistakes or doing whatever wrong, but you can sense deep courage and an innate goodness in him.

Apart from the three, I like Tonks the most. Ifind her being a metamorphmagus really cool, and I'm quite sad that ability is not much emphasizedin the fifth Harry Potter movie. I was really very sad when I read the seventh book, because of what happened to Tonks.

I love reading on fred & george. They are my favs.I also like harry's father even if very little is written abt him

BEAST from the beauty and the best. I have no clue but since I was a kid i loved him. he is so big but still tries to hangle beauty with care. no joke but it is stuouot I wanted my husband to be like him an dthen he would have turned into a handddsome prince. but now i m en gaged. so no more crushes... but beast was my first and last crush till i met my guy..and he kinda resembles him too:P...

harry potter ............

mine is luna lovegood.Ever since she entered in the series,she has been great.I think she will have a bigger part to play in the final book as she is with neville now.I think neville will help harry in the final duel as he is related to the profesy(check my spelling).And also he has to show that he is as good as his parents!

I think they are all equally important in the story line. I have no favorite because they are completly different personalitys and I like them all equally in their own ways. I like hermione because she is smart, and also puts ron and harry in their place. Harry becuase he is the main character and very brave. And Ron is the the humor of them. They also have qualitys, just like most people, that i don't like. Hermione for instance is a little too up tight and you cant tell if she likes harry or ron-more than friends. Harry and Rons fights really bug me because i feel as best friends they should be completly open, trust eachother, and forgive a bit quicker. I don't like it when they're mad at one another most of the book/movie.

my favourite character is hagrid...i love him, hes so cumsy and funny..i think he is the kid of character all children will love. as he is the protector really of harry, ron and hermione :D i cant wait for the new film

It is very had to choose a favorite character, but mine would be between two. Either Sirius or Dumbledore, and I have reasons for those two. I think sirius is underrated in the book. He spent quite a long part of his life in misery and terror at azkaban, and yet, when he gets out, he still has life to him. He must be very strong-willed. And then he takes harry under his wing, well as much as he can being Wanted by the Ministry. All he wants to do is protect Harry. He would give his life up for the boy. He becomes a father to harry. Harry adores him over everyone, and the importance of him in this book is phenomenal. He is such a caring, loving, and powerful character. Dumbledore. For me, he seems to be the relief character in these books. You know that when Dumbledore comes in, everything is going to be alright, no matter what. He is extremely wise and more powerful than even he probably knows. I love his quirky sense of humor, and the way he presents himself in every situation.
