Have you visited Scotland . I still live in the same town I was born in here in Scotland and I would never dream of moving anywhere else, It is just beautiful and I love it . All my family and friends stay close by me and that is lovely too . I live in the central belt and I have the Ochil Hills at the back of the house ( seen from my bedroom window, covered in snow at the moment ) and the Grampian Mountains from the front of the house ( also covered in snow) they are so lovely to look at .We also have the famous Forth road and rail bridges 15 miles from our home xxxx

wow. i have heard that scotland is a friendly place to live. people are great and the nature is still preserved.
if given the chance, i wanna see the beauty of scotland even for just a few days. atleast, experience fresh air and meet new people.
it is a bit impossible because of the visa and plane fares, and other stuffs to consider. but it would be a dream come true for me if ever. plus, i wanna spend my days in scotland with my boyfriend. that would be so nice.

Scotland is truly beautiful, last year in September I went up on a camping/driving trip of Scotland, I went up the west coast, visited Skye which I instantly fell in love with, continued to the top, went across to John O Groats then down the East side. My favourite Scottish city is Inverness. I drove 2000 miles in my tour of Scotland. Seeing Ben Nevis, Loch Ness (didn't see Nessie) and the beautiful lochs, heather and the mountains. I would recommend it to anyone. It was 4 weeks of exploration and adventure.

No I have not. I would love to and my family on my mother's side is from Ireland. I am related to the current Earl of Meath as his 13th cousin. I am proud to have that family heritage.
There is so much I would love to see in Scotland and to visit there is one of my goals. I love to travel and currently I can't afford to. It is on my list though.

some of my earliest happiest childhood memmories have their heart in visits to Scotland, you are lucky indeed to live there.
I particularly enjoyed travelling to friends houses in the Dunfimline area and then setting off to explore the highlands. We went to the West coast and travelled around the beautiful port town of Oban. After this we would take the ferry to mull to visit the town of Tobamorie and then out to the mystical isle of Iona, there is certainly something otherworldly about that place, quite breathtaking .
Thankyou for this discussion, it brought back happy memories for me
blessed be

Have never been to Scotland but would love to visit the Hebrides, especially Mingulay. I saw a documentary about it and it looked beautiful. It is so nice that you are that happy and content living in the same place, we would all love to find somewhere we can be at peace.

I have never been to Scotland or anywhere in the British Isles other than a brief refueling stop at Shannon Airport in Ireland on a flight from Chicago to Istanbul.
But I would love to visit Scotland. Half of my ancestors were from Ireland and the other half were Scot Irish from the North of Ireland and I have dual American and Irish citizenship as a result of my grandfather having been born in Ireland.
I have seen pictures of Scotland and read about it and I can see why you love it so much. Hopefully, I will have the opportunity to visit Scotland in the near future.

I'm from Scotland. I lived in Stewarton, Ayrshire till i was 12. I go up to visit my family quite a lot. I would prefer to live on the East coast, in the West it rains far too much.

No sorry I have never visited Scotland, but would to one day. I understand what you are saying when you say that you would never dream of moving as I moved away from Sydney, Australa and when I did oh boy it was dreadful really I lived in teh country for three years, but I was ever so happy to return back to Sydney I have been home here now for nearly 1 year and am so happy to be back home, but where you live sounds very lovely and I can understand why you would not want to move away from there.
