I don't agree with that at all. I'm a stay at home mom, but I have worked plenty in my life. Even if I worked outside of the home I would be on here, maybe not as much but I would still make time for the internet.. When I worked I would be on late at night after everyone went to bed. I think everyone has a different opinion of a real job.. I have had jobs that were easier than staying at home ( darn, why did I ever leave them) I agree with the others that posted if you were so lazy you wouldn't be on here you would be sleeping or lounging on the couch.. I think mylot is a forum for people to make good friends and learn things about others.

I am no longer a stay at home mom, my children are grown. I am not lazy, I take care of everything, and I have a real full time job, and I am starting a small business in an office a few miles from my home. I love mylot for a few reasons. I can get a variety of good honest answers or advice to my questions or concerns. I can read suggestions and advice given to people who need it, and I can give advice or suggestions to people who ask. Since my children are no longer at home, I find I have a lot more time on my hands. I think there are many different reasons for being on mylot. I do not feel it is just a forum for lazy people, stay at home moms, or people who can't or won't get a real job.

I don't agree with you at all. Plenty of people that post here work full-time jobs outside of the home and are mothers and maintain a house. I have been here a lot because I am currently unemployed, but when I go back to work full-time next month I will for sure still find time to post here- I just won't have as much time. I think that the "lazy" people that you speak of, or the people who are unwilling to work a real job are the ones who are cheating and abusing the system. They don't last long here before they realize that they won't get away with it, and then they move on. The majority of people here seem to genuinely enjoy the conversations and the people.

That is highly offensive. Let me tell you & anyone else that being a Stay at Home Mom is one of the toughest jobs in the world. We don't get to work an 8 hour job. We don't get sick or vacation days. We don't get paid for overtime. This is the job I chose to do though. There is nothing I would rather do than watch my girls grow & develope. I was Active Duty Army for 2 years & let me tell you this 10xs tougher than that was.
