when people post negative replies to your posts how do you react? / myLot

i tend to joke back as it is quite sad to see people vent their frustrations out on people they don't even know and have not even said or done anything to harm them personally.. thye feel that their space is threastened for some reason..can't understand why..cos there is plenty of room here for everyone..and they shouldn't feel intimidated if others are also popular... i never belittle people's intelligence..whatever they have to say has some substance..or maybe they just want to unwind from high powered pressures and want to engage in light banter.. what do you think?

honestly, when i receive negative response from someone, i feel bad about it. but as i say, this is a discussion site and we can't all agree on one thing. if we will just agree about everything, there's nothing to discuss about. so, i think of it as a healthy way of expressing our opinions and ideas. we feel bad but it's great. it means that we will learn more and more through other people everyday.

i see your point..negative i meant by an attack on your person rather than a difference of opinion..i should have made that more clear..but thanks..
