If you had 1 Wish for today, What would it be?, and Why?

Hi. I often wander what tomorrow will bring when I lay my head down to sleep at night. I often pray for the next day to be alot better than the day before.
I also find myself thinking about, what was so wrong with today as tomorrow may be worse than today. So then I start thinking maybe I should be really greatful for today and just hope and pray tomorrow will not be more than I handled today.
If, I had one wish for today though, it would have to be a day full of peave amongnst all of us.
If we could start a day in peace and was granted another wish the next day, we would already have peace in the world and we could start to make that wish for something else.
What would you wish for first to begin to get your life going the way you want it to go?
I feel peace must come first for us to enjoy any other aspects of our lives, for without peace, there comes no joy.

Ok usually I'm not this selfish but this time I am going to be I wish for today that I get everything I want! I want my kids to listen to me and not mouth off I want them to go to bed and go straight to sleep when they are told. I want my husband to come home in a good mood and take me out to dinner. I want my best friend to comeover and invite me out to lunch and pay for it. I want that last w-2 to come in the mail so we can file our taxes I want to find that perfect houe today so I can finally quit looking.
Selfish I know but why cant I just have the perfect day?

This is a good one LOL. You are not selfish at all. we are all only human and we all have those needs. That would be awesome to have everything you ever dreamed of having to happen all in one day. Could you imagine the feeling you would have? From personal experience from me though, when something good happens, tons of bad things roll in right behind it, LOL.

If I had one wish It would be a never ending life...because I'm afraid to die but it seems so very impossible to have this 1 great wish..One possible wish is To have Peace in the whole world..that it because I'm afraid of people killing...No wars

I don't make wishes, I could not make that one wish if my Fairy Godmother arrived in my lounge right now and said I will grant you one wish. I would tell her I will tell you, be happy with what you have, you cannot change the past, there is no magic spell to change what's happened or what will be so just live for today and tomorrow will take care of its self. Of course there are many things I wish I could change but in changing one part of my history I could change the whole of my future and where I am right at this very moment.

Yes I agree. Peace is a critical thing for happiness. Teh lack of it today impacts so many lives that our own little problems seem small.
However from a personal perspective I would have to say my wish would be to simply hear better. I have profound hearing loss. More in one ear than the other. But today, because I was do to be tested for an implant I recieved a top of the line hearing aid as a loner. Because of these new hearing aids I do not qualify for that implant. That is about the best news I could have ever had on one day.

well my wish for today wud be that my hubby wulont hav to go for work today....its a saturday , but his boss wants him to work n i wanna spend the day with him n catch up on all that we missed during the week. i wanna love him n be able to recieve some time frm him for my kids bn me. proably just go out on a family outing....ahhhh...its just wishful thinking!

I know where you are coming from. My husband works every Saturday. his days off are supposed to be sundays and Mondays but they have so much work to do and get done. Plus alot of people don't come into work so he will have to work this sunday and Monday which was his normal days off. We spend time together whenever we can get time because of his weird work schedule. Poor thing don't know if he is coming or going. I hope you get your outing soon. Best wishes and good luck on that.

Yeah. Sometimes I wander why only the rich "men and women" become politicians. Why not give the chance to a poor person who really knows the needs of the people in their country. I believe they would make sure to make the changes that all of us need. We are all supposed to be one and equal. Well I have yet to see it and probably never will.

I agree. Kindness comes from peace. Spread some kindness and peace will follow is what I think. But it seems sometimes the more kindness you spread it does not bring any peace whatsoever. Not everyone will spread kindness as they could care less for any peace for others.

my one wish would be for me to be able to get thru one day with out any stress.i know they say god gives you what you can handel,but with 25 month old twins and a 36 month old,its so rough.so to be stress free for a day would be great.very nice question,you never know what tomorrow will bring.

I had only one wish and that is partially fulfilled. That is to make money and contact you through PM and obtain the site addresses. All these things are done, but sites are not interesting, some of them are not suitable for Indian or Asians. Thanks.

If I can have a wish, I would turn back the time and be at the time I was just a little kid. I miss being a kid, and wanted to be like that forever if I could. And most probably I wanted to redo whatever wrong that I have made, so that maybe my life would change after that. But it is only a wish, so I guess nothing would happen then. Lol. However it is fun to think about having a wish. Have a nice day friend.

My wish, not only today but forever and ever will be just one and the same.....I will ask God , to see that never never any child is aparted from his/her mother. Mothers cannot bear this pain of seperation from their children.It is very very painful experience for any mother to loose or to seperate from her child. My wish is that all the mothers should remain with their children untill the last moment of her life. It is only children that makes mother happy and nobody else.

If I had one wish for today, it would be that my son Yotam turn his life around and become the good, loving, decent, thoughtful, caring young man I know he can be.
