who can give an explantion to "love"

who can give love a good explanation?? When someone feels alone, he/she is likely to find a partner. Does that mean love? or love is just an execuse to get rid of the feeling of loneliness?
Also, I have read some novels which is trying to explain what love is? All the ansers are similar to each other. some one would not hesitate to die for another, that is kind of love...
When we become an adult we need to find love, find a partner? Does love have a close connection with partner???

# Love has many meanings in English, from something that gives a little pleasure ("I loved that movie") to something one would die for (patriotism, pairbonding). It can describe an intense feeling of affection, an emotion or an emotional state. In ordinary use, it usually refers to interpersonal love. Probably due to its large psychological relevance, love is one of the most common themes in art. The majority of modern movies have a love story and most pop music is about love.

It is a huge word that corresponds to infinite reflection
of feelings towards another human being. It do not necessarily mean that for a partner nor a feeling between
man and woman. Depends largely to whom it is intended to
offer to or degree of totality. Love is a universal feeling
of admirations resulting from the intimacy of any given relationship.
