My daughter has worn contacts for years. I really don't know how she can put them in and remove them. Your optician should be able to help you. They practice with you while you are in the office. Get a trial package first to see if they work for you.

I also wear glasses and have recently joined a site that offers simple eye excersies to build your vision. I have found their excersises very relaxing as its =just been ten days so I don't know if they will help in removing my glasses but its sure a nice programme. I have signed up to become its affilate too becuase I liked what they are offering. If you want to try them for free please ask me for the link in my messages, I will give it to you. Then you can see if you wish to buy their whole programme or not.

I have a really hard time getting objects near my eyes, but after a couple of days of practice I have learned to easily get contacts in and out. It still takes me a little longer than some but I can get it done now in under five minutes (at first it was taking at least 15)!! I say at least check it out (if you have the money for the exam and the contacts), and good luck.

I've been wearing glasses since i was 9 years old.. so i totally relate to what u're going thru.. i wore contacts for about 3-4 years.. but i gave up on them as the air-conditioner my office always tend to dry up my eyes up causing irritation to them. My suggestion is when you are wearing them, don't look at the lenses.. instead look up at the ceiling.. and slowly just "drop" the lens in.. it takes practise... but with anything else.. patience always works wonders..

I used to feel the same way too, afraid of putting the lens onto my eyeball. However, that was almost 20 years ago for me. It really is a matter of getting used to it. Now , I find it a breeze putting and taking the lens off.
