we want to join rubber trailing cables used in coal minens?

do you want to join them or use them there is a big difference.Your question will be abit confusing to others,but I personal would do research on them.

Enquire with cable manufacturers. Email them. There are kits to waterproof the connections and make them mechanically strong, Start with the manufacturer of the cables you are already using. Belden is a cable co in the US and I am sure a tech rep would answer all your questions.
