I wonder, how many of you know about it. Or have you ever heard the name PICK.
and about the drink Unicum?
and about the Paprika from Szeged?
Onion from Mako?
drink palinka?
tokaji wine?
All of these are hungaricum. I wonder if anybody knows these hungarian specialities.

Hello, I just signed up for MyLot a few days before, and was searching about Hungary, because I am from Hungary. I found this topic, and thought write to you :)
Now I live in Florida, but usually I eat PICK Salami for breakfast, and use Szegedi Paprika for cooking at least 2 times a week. :)) (I can buy them here!)
I`m glad I found Hungarian people here. I also lived in Szeged when I went to University -- JATE :)
Hope you are having a nice and sunny day.
Bye!

Could you tell me where you buy the pick salami in Florida?
I live in Miami. I am Cuban, but I went to the University of Economics in Budapest (1980-1986)
Pick Szalami from Szeged is by far the best salami you can ever buy...period..(No offense to my good Italian friends!!!)

I like "Zold Paprika". I remember my trips to Hungary, but not many names.Szeged paprika is so good, but very hot. I love spicy food and Hungarian meals are so tasty.
Is palinka from apricots? I was able to drink it long time ago.
I miss Budapest and I am hopping to have it on my next Europeean trip.

I worked with the Pick company, and I know that the export to USA is very-very little. I think it is available only a few hungarian stores in USA. Anyway there is a world famous Handball team which sponsored by PICK.
