Just a wish to the Aussies out there......

Thanks. We had a traditional BBQ on the back verandah with the family. It was lovely and relaxing

I am not Australian but I have many friends on my list who are. So I would like to join you in wishing the Australians a Happy Australia Day. I am interested in finding out more about this day, so I hope you get some responses from some Australians.

WoW...Thanks for the well wishes. Although a late reply. I was supposed to go to the local races. I got up at 4am, fed the chickens, the sheep, the horse, dog and cat. Prepared a picnic basket, rang my girlfriend (best mate) to say I was about to have a shower and pop over, as we were travelling together. But alas there was no water, grrrrr. I ended up spending a few hours trailing the pipe's to see if there were leaks only to realize oops I might not have any water in the tanks. Yeap no water, so I had to fill the tanks up from the dam, which kept me occupied for the rest of the day. Not a very Australian thing to do, but I did get to spend the day with my son, so I was extremely happy with that.

Happy belated australia day... wish i can go and live there one day... really admire all the australians.
