do I need to do something special to get more responses?

I think it helps to start your discussion in top categories where lots of people have chosen that as part of their interests. Do you know what I mean? When you look at your interests it lists a number next to each one. The higher the number the more people that will see your discussion when you post it.

I have found that too. It just depends on who is reading your discussions. I try to start all of my discussions under the specific interest and sometimes that helps, sometimes it doesn't.

hmm I agree with Ur best responce answer. It depend on what kind of tpic that many people lke. NOt base on is it boring or not ^^

lol..that won't help you.you see mylot has almost 60,000 members and every minute people starting new discussion.so,the discussion goes down to next page(2nd page) in no times...n hardly people browse second page.make some friend who can help you by posting in your discussion and you too do the same favour to your friend.this will your discussion will get response and whenever discussion gets new post its auto comes up on first page .so you people can see it again n you might get some more response. try this out.i do the same,its really work.make friend wish you luck.

i started off with the same trouble but I started posting things that really impact my life and things I hope to share with others. For example I am a mother of two and I always have topics to share about parenting. And current events. If it interests you post topics on what is going on in the world. I see that not may people are giving much detailed advice so I hope this might help. Also tags are important. Make sure you cover everything in your article under you tags, I mean key words anyway.
