I admire Job alot, because despite of all the trials that he suffered (lost of his children and possessions, he also suffered from painful sores), he reamined faithful to God. What I liked most about Him is when He said, the Lord gave and the Lord taketh away, Praise the Name of the Lord. And also he said, shall we only receive good things from the Lord and not adversity? Most of us, when being tested we tend to ask God "Why me?" and also we tend to complain and even blame God for our adversities. I hope like Job, let us consider it pure joy when we are being tested because it produces greater faith. God loves us and he wants to teach us lessons so that we may be more submitted unto His will.

Apart from the Lord Jesus Himself, there are so many to admire.
NEHEMIAH for his leadership abilities and his total dependence on God. He faced so many obstacles, but trusted and obeyed God.
ELIJAH for his bold stand against the prophets of Baal and for his availablility to be used by God and his trust in Him.
PAUL for his determination to serve the Lord his God and never turning from the course.
DAVID. David was a sinner, but when he realised his sin he repented and never committed the same sin again. He was "beloved of the Lord"
The list is almost never-ending. We can learn so much from these heroes of faith, but the One who stands above all others is the Lord Jesus Christ. One day, I shall be like Him and THAT will be glory for me.

Aha.. I admired a lot of characters in the Bible. I admire David, because when I see his book of psalm, I can feel how much he loves GOD. I admire Jonah, because to me he is very brave (he didn't mind talking back to God) and GOD did show how He loved him despite his stubborness.
I admire Daniel, because I couldn't see any wrongdoing in him. I admire Moses because he was willing to do what God wanted him to do. I admire Abraham, because he was very patient and have a big faith to GOD, in my personal opinion. I admire Esther, because she is beautiful and had a good heart according to the book of Esther. I admire Maria, Jesus' mother, because as I read her story from the Bible, I can see that she was smart and patient as well. I admire Timothy, because he had doubt but then he believed. I admire Peter, because he had a leader character. I admire Hannah because she was obidient. I admire Johannah, because she was rich and she was very helpful to God and His disciples. Too many to mention.
Sometimes, I just want to have all the combination of their good characters in myself if it's possible. lol
