Do you schedule your time? How do you do it?

I could use some tips. I am a very organized person, but I tend to concentrate on one area of my responsibilities. When I do this I let other responsibilities of mine stack up
I have been doing laundry for the past 4 days, because it stacked up so high. There are 2 adults and 3 kids in my house. The problem I have now is the dishes are stacked up now. I don't have a dishwasher, which sucks, so all the dishes have to be done by hand. I use paper plates whenever I can, but it doesn't seem to make a difference.
Can anyone help me? Please

I actually designated a time for each chore during the day. I do laundry in the morning, vaccum and clean the living areas in the afternoon, then just before starting dinner I wash all the days dishes. Good luck getting caught up it is so hard once you get behind.

I need to do that. I was really good at doing that about 1 1/2 years ago but since I moved it has been very hard to get on a schedule again. Thanks for the tip.

Sticking to a schedule drives me nuts too. I am one that likes to spend all my extra time with my family and it is hard to complete what I need to do when I do this. Thanks for responding.

I don't schedule my time but I do make to do lists and try to organize myself to my advantage. Although, I am alone and anything I have to do is not that important that I can't do it pretty much whenever I want. With this in mind I do try to remain slightly regimental, disciplined, and goal oriented.

I wish I could help, but I know just what you mean. It doesn't seem to matter how I try to schedule things, it just seems that there aren't enough hours in the day.

I'm not sure how tightly you schedule your time. I do it more by making a list, crossing off each item as it gets done. I can suggest that as you do laundry, do the dishes at the same time,or vacuum or whatever is on your list. Some things on my list i know can wait till the next day, some things I know have to get done. I seem to write dow out of routine things like sheets..
hope this gives you some ideas. I use a weekly calendar!!!
