What's happened during SVU this season?

I watched the first few episodes where Olivia infiltrated the terrorist group, but lost track after that. Are Olivia and Elliot hooking up?

They are back together once Mariska (Olivia) got back from her real life maternity break with her son. Danny Beck went back to the division she was at and was really just written off the show without much fanfare after Olivia got back. She did help with Elliott's wife, Cathy, when Olivia and Cathy were in a car wreck and Cathy went into labor with their new son Ian I think.
