I rarely eat three meals a day. I know they say that breakfast is the most important, but when I get up in the morning I am just not hungry. Normally I don't eat anything until mid-day and then I'll have dinner by 6 or 7 in the evening.

I am diabetic and am suppose to eat about 5 small meals throughout the day. However,I am very slack on this and some days may have only one or two meals throughout the day.Not overly healthy, but it seems to work for me.

Yes. I do take 3 meals a day. But i prefer having 6 short meals which are more healthy. Since i am at home i can manage it; but i am sure people working may find it difficult to have even 3 meals a day.

whew!. i also eat 2 meals a day but i have lots of snack time.. however if i oversleep or something and i dont wake up on time to eat breakfast and lunch then the tendency is i only have 1 meal in a day.. this will leave me weak and fatigued.. so i try not to oversleep. but the normal food intake for me is only 2 meals a day and less and lots and lots of snacks!. LOLS!.

I usually eat breakfast, lunch, dinner and an evening snack. Sometimes I cut out lunch and replace it with a light snack.

Sometimes one sometimes two .it just depends on if I am hungry or not. If I am out working I will eat lunch and dinner if I am at home mostly just dinner...

You are NOT supposed to eat three meals a day, you are supposed to eat five to seven small meals a day. The reason without getting into a long drawn-out conversation is blood sugar.
You want your blood sugar to remain constant throughout the day. By eating a large meal, your blood sugar skyrockets and then bottoms out. That is when you feel tired and lethargic. It also puts great strain on your internal organs and is my contention of why we have such an epidemic of diabetes in the US today.
It is also great for stamina and for your overall health.
