Any poets or artists?

Well i was wondering what people here thought about my project. are you a artist or writer? would the site help you?
Pease keep in mind that we are new still new and i am aiming at improving areas. please let me know what you think!

Regarding the site.
We try to encourage all types of writers (poets) to use there style and develop. (basicly it's a community we're we all support each other)
It works for poets because they get chance to recieve comments + make friends, have fun. we do challenges and stuff to keep people on the ball (to keep writing) also i've got a few unqiue projects. :)

I joined the forum and I have found it really helps me. It allows me to better my poetry, which isn't my strong point. But I find I can get alot of inspiration off the forum too, mainly in the photography section, as I love photography. Anyway, I do advise people have abit of a look on here anyways, its a wicked forum and great people run the site too :P besides it is a real good giggle too.

i joined the community about 3 months ago now its a really nice place to make new friends and helpfull place.
the comminity is also really begging to take off now which is making it better alot of other people really enjoy the site so i advice people 2 check it out.

Folks, I only joined the poetry and art forum a few weeks ago, and already it ranks amongst my favorite forums! I hate to sound like a cheezy commercial, but I've gotten great feedback on my artwork, seen some great work from others, and found some very very very talented individuals to collaborate with! My partner put some of his music onto the Channel 4 website.
I was telling him about mylot and maybe starting a discussion to get people to look his band up on the site and tell me what they think.
It would be a great way to know if anyone likes it or not.
So far they have had 5 star ratings from people who have listened on the site.
At present they have been removed as they have not updated their songs.
I would be interested if you think this is a good idea or not?
I will check out the website you have recommended.

Thanks for your interest.
His music is sort of rock, but not too heavy, with some mellow tracks as well.
When he puts some more tracks on the site I will let you know.

I don't mind heavy music. just prefer rock and less noise. (emo/post hardcore/scremos okay) =)

I just skimmed through the site briefly, but I bookmarked it so that I could do a more in depth search at another time soon. It seems very interesting and I think that for anyone that does need any help or even just to discuss something with another poet/artist, this is fabulous. Keep up the awesome work!

i joined when the site started a few months ago and its perfect if you want constructive feedback for many different types of art, poetry or short stories... the community is really friendly and the site is very well run, another plus point is there is a great oppertunity to post blogs and read what others have put, it really is worth a look!

I promote a very talented and skill writer and spoken rhythm artist name Frank Pete out of Chicago, Illinois. Frank currently has a CD that was release last summer entitled For tha Love Of the Art www.spokenrhythm.com. Listern to some of his poetry and let me lnow what you think.
