I heart this movie. Great actors, great story, great soundtrack (Iggy Pop's Lust for Life is PERFECT for this film!), and just all around great cinematography.

Oh yes, the soundtracks are great. I've just about worn them out. If you appreciate good cinemoatography, maybe you would like Young Adam. I'm being totally serious. The other stuff is just a bonus LOL. It's one of my favorite books. I can't recall ever seeing a film with cinameatography on this level : ) The movement of the objects and the hues they used were haunting.

I'll have to see if I can find Young Adam at my local video store. I checked it out on imdb, and it looks liek it would be right up my alley! Thanks for the tip!

Here is a link to the website. You should be able to get a better idea about the film than the imdb supplies. My husband didn't like the film. I dragged him to NY to see it. The US version for rent/sale is a bit chopped up. Mainly Ewan's body parts. LOL It doesn't take too much away from the film ;)

Trainspotting is my all-time fav movie. It's the first movie I saw with Ewan and I find the whole portrayal of the gritty and beautiful sides of life to be both heart-wrenching and inspiring.

I can understand why :-) It's a really great movie. Really love the beginning og the movie.
