hitch hikers

do people pick up hitch hikers any more? when was the last time you stoped and was it pleasent?

My last pick up about 10 years ago :). I stop doing this because sometimes hitch hikers don't know how to behave inside your car. My last pick up is a heavy smoker and he keep doing this during our trip, I told him to stop, but he did not listen to me.

i recently saw the movie the hitcher, and i think hikers are going to have a hard time getting picked up now

No I don't pick up hitch hikers anymore. And haven't done so for a long time. An don't want to either. Mainly for safety.

i never did. i don't think i ever would. i don't feel safe anymore in this world. but my aunt was stranded once and a man picked her up. he made her undress to make sure she wasn't hiding any weapons. (at least that's what he said, lol).
