This question is for the parents out there! Do you think a pillow for our 1 year old (who sleeps in a crib) is safe? :) When he and I take a nap together, he seems to like laying on my pillow. :) He usually leaves me a little sliver of the pillow while he takes up 3/4 of it! hehehe.

I believe it's safe enough. I, too, let my baby sleep on my pillow at age 1. Now, he's turning 2 and he's perfectly alright.

As long as the pillow isn't too fluffly it will be okay. My grandson would use ours whenever he spent the night. They are pillow hogs for sure. When Troy would snuggle into bed with us, I had to find another pillow for myself.

I think people worry way too much about things that were done commonly not too many years ago. As long as he can lift his head up without assistance, and the pillow is not so high that his neck is turned up, it should be ok.
They used to have newborn pillows years ago. Of course that is stopped, and I can understand that. But, I think it went a little overboard.

The pillow is okay as long as your baby is lying on it, about half of his body from head to chest should be on top of it and he should be good.
