well, some of the movies are really exaggerated. there are some areas that they just added to make the movie more interesting to the audience. to research is a good one to be updated and know the real happenings in our environment.

As S.Clam already said, that movie is not accurate. But in response to the statement "its not only brutal but its also dangerous. you might die in getting an abortion." That's also just not accurate. A legal, early termination poses no signifigant threat to the woman's health. Certainly far less risk than carrying a pregnancy to term. Depending on the exact procedure and pain medications used, the risks are things like secondary infection and reactions to the medications. Reactions & infections can happen with any medical procedure, and are relatively rare.

I am against abortion but I am for choice. I think that woman have the right to decide what to do with their lives. I just happen to know what my choice would be.
BUT I THINK that if the woman decides NO then the father should get to put in a vote... and if he wants the baby then he can take her and the mother can have NO CONTACT EVER with the CHILD until it is over 18.

if you are not really to have a baby, you should avoid it for you know the consequences if you'll be pregnant. its not good that you'll just say come what may then in the end you'll end up to abort the baby because you dont want it. you have to be responsible in all your actions.

I agree with some of what you have to say. But I don't think the woman should have to go through with the pregnancy if she doesn't want to. Abortion should never be used as a form of birth control when taking no other precautions, but if you do find yourself pregnant you should not be punished and judged by others and if you chose to have an abortion then that is your choice. I think the decision is made between a loving caring couple who is prepared to take on a child and is able to support and pay for that child and will provide it with love and care and attention. We do not need more unwated children in this country who may grow up to be criminals or dependent on the system and therefor living off my tax dollars. Having a baby and having an abortion is no where near a simple choice. Having an abortion however is NOT killing a human being. That tiny little thing has a chance to develop into a human but at that very moment it is a human being, it's a lump of tissue and nerves. I know many people will find this view controversial, I mean no direct attack on anyone, this is just my opinion.

before a girl would go into a situation like being pregnant, she should have known the possibility of it and knew what should do. its not an excuse of not being ready to have a baby so you should abort it since it's still a tissue. its still a life and you were not given the right to end it. it maybe legal to some other countries but have you really think it as a moral act?

Anti-abortion.
It's such a gift to be able to give life to someone,
To be able to do what they wanted,
And to give them a chance to live.

If every life is precious, then why isn't the pregnant woman to be concidered? Why does she have to give up her health, money, well-being and mentality to gestate a pregnancy that she doesn't want?
Also, a first trimester doesn't posess the capacity for "consent" one way or the other. It has no brain and doesn't even know it exists.

I am very anti-abortion (dare I say, Pro-Life). As it is Sanctity of Life Week, I will express that life begins in the womb, and has the right to be protected just as much as out of the womb.

Im anti-abortion, no one has the right to take way life, only God has the one to do it, he gave us life so he can get it back whenever he wanted. It is a sin to do that.

I am anti-abortion except in the cases of rapes or life-threatening pregnancies. Rape victims didn't ask for it and should not have to live with the conciquences. If keeping a child will threaten thier life, I think they should have the option of aborting but I think that they should also have their tubes tied to prevent having to go through it again. When it comes to those women who just can't keep their legs closed, there is always adoption. But really, I think if a woman has more than two children that she had to give up (or at this time have aborted) she should have to have her tubes tied. For adoption to be an option, however, it will have to be made cheaper and much easier to adopt children from here in the U.S.A. I know a couple that waited almost 10 years to adopt a little girl while a friend of theirs adopted one from over seas in a little under a year.

The accurate term is "Pro-Choice". I'm comfortable enough being called "pro-abortion" but truly it's not accurate. I support the right (God-given imo) of all persons to choose what happens in their bodies. Pregnancy is unlike any other situation a person will face in their life. It is a monumental commitment, carries (for some woman) high risks, and high sacrifices. Choosing when to have children, or when not to have a child is the foundation of any & all other freedoms.
