AVG free version is very good

I have been using only norton it has been good and prevented from many virus.RAM is the problem if u upgrade it may it will boot faster than now.

dont use zonealarm it is crap. i got avg interent security today. it is good as it does not slow down pc. it has got tid of a few infections already that zonealarm missed

I don't know how valuable this contribution is, but i used AVG free,and a router hardware firewall. Now i still have the router hardware firewall,but i use Avast 4,it's a little bit complicate but i feel it more good than avg. I much prefer the windows firewall to the sygate firewall,it kept asking me difficult questions about letting this program access internet or not.I know that sygate is more powerful,but i don't need it using the hw firewall. You can use Symantec or Mc Affee...but its better if you searching from search engine what the best antivirus for your pc. And ya...try to join some forum which related with computer, antivirus, software. coz you can download some antivirus that you need from there, free!!!

If you want the best AntiVirus software, try using Bitdefender , Kaspersky or F-secure. These are the best AntiVirus right now. I used Kaspersky and it never slowdown my computer. Kaspersky have the fastest av scanning engine and it worth to buy.

I think that AVG is the best and they have a free version. Norton takes over your machine too much and the costs are quite high 25GBP per year to keep getting the updates. www.AddAnImage.com

I use Panda Titanium software for my anti virus protection. Also you get daily updates automatically when you get on the internet.

i recommend you using norton first. then use spyware doctor. spyware doctor is really good.

Hey i htink AVG 7.5 is a gr8 anti virus tool for any pc..it doesn put a strain on ur systems performance n it also takes very lil time to update..i have used Norton n suffered with my systems performance so id suggest u go for AVG

i'm a MacAfee user and i'm sattisfied with it, sure it costs a bit but it's worth it. i use the full internet security suite which includes a spamkiller, fire wall and virus scanner. every program that needs internet access need to be authorized by you. you can personalise it pretty good.
