Advice please

I've been writing a lot with this guy for the past weeks and we usually spend 8 hours emailing each other back and forth without end. We've opened up a lot and I've always treated him just like a friend. That's what his intentions were just penpals then he started to say he likes me and I wasn't sure how to react. I think I'm liking him too but I'm really confused by everything he does and the last 2 days has not been the same with us and I'm really affected. I can't seem to function without his nice emails. Should I try to write to him still I think we still need to get to know each other well.

i would try to talk to him heart to heart. you need to know what's going on. you've spent a lot of time talking to him and i think you should still try to get to know him and him get to know you before a serious relationship starts.

I would write to see whats bothering him. He may be just as confused as you. I wouldn't give up on your friendship too quick. He may just need time to figure out where your relationship is going. Write him and tell him of your concerns and you may just discover that he feels the same.

Yes, spend some more time and write to him, this way you could know him better, and It's will be a good factor to decide if you want to continue your relationship or just want to end it.
