I here people on the news saying that they want pot decriminalized. What do you think. Here is on reason i've heard. I have a criminal record that hiders me from getting a good job. WAKE UP you broke the law. Why does'nt anyone want to take responsibility for thier actions? Murder is against the law too. If someone is a murderer should they decriminalize it because they cant get a job as a butcher? lol
Tell me what you think.

Do you honestly think that comparing murder to smoking pot is a good analogy though? Its VASTLY different. You aren't hurting anyone else with weed. Most people aren't arguing about the criminal record thing, but the fact that it doesn't make sense for it to be illegal in the first place!

Decriminalizing pot would not allow you to smoke it on the job or drive after (or while) smoking it. People seem to forget that. I don't think it should be decriminalized because it would destroy the economy in Northern California. The local growers would be out-marketed by folks like Phillip Morris. If they were really business people, they'd realize that they don't have the budgets or marketing power to keep ahead of such big players and would stop calling for its legalization!
