I like the character John Redcorn as he battles the demons inside him.He tries to show the moral part of himself and his culture, but at the same time he can't come to grips with his own discrepancies.
Plus,for a guy,he looks sort of cute...

I like Dale. His antics are always funny. He's just ridiculous, from buying alien uring monthly to his insistence on using the alter ego "Rusty Shackleford" its just hilarious.
I also like Boomhauer because you can't understand him, but he's still funny because of it.

My favorite is Peggy Hill. I cannot say that I have ever met people like the characters, but the show is great for a laugh. Peggy is my favorite because she is the mom and I can relate to her more because I am a mom too.

She also tends to want to inject herself into every situation.

I like Hank because he's so moral, but a little over the top. I also like Boomhauer, and I also can understand him! Go figure!

Can we understand a lot of our neighbors? Hank is so stiff as a board and thats what a lot of Americans are turning out to be.

I love this show its great. I think my fav has to be boomhauser, just the way he talks and gets into things. And as far as reminding me of my community, well i love in a small country town... and well lol we seem to do alot of the same things around here

A true redneck he is, you can barely understand him, sometime not at all.

When I moved from Tennessee to Idaho the kids made fun of how I talked and they used to call me Boomhauer. That was a compliment in my book because I think he is the best on that show. I always think that the people on the show are just like my community in Tenn.

I haven't seen a character on the show that I didn't like. They are perfect! Yes they do remind me of people in my community! It is too funny. We watch the show and just laugh and then try to figure out, which neighbor they are acting like. The show is not your typical cartoon show - it has some really good story lines, which go deeper than they appear on the surface.
Peggy, who claims to know Spanish, but really doesn't.
The only "normal" character is Hank and he's stuck living with all the other characters and just goes with the flow. He gets frustrated at times, but he never quits or has a nervous breakdown or anything. He is the glue that holds the community together. Every community needs a Hank.

All of the characters are great, I love Bill, I think he's such a goof. Dale can get on my nerves a little but he's pretty cool, mostly. I think my favorite is Bobby. He looks like my nephew that I love so much. He also can surprise you with all of his hidden talents. Hank thinks he should be something he isn't, like the athletic type and Bobby always wins his father over in his sweet, gentle way. What a guy.

I lived in Texas when the show started and I love Hank's character. Dale is a close second.
The writers have Hank say some very funny things such as: Peggy likes a firm mattress, but I like extra firm." They created a great character. I think that line captures his personality.
I also love the way Hank introduces himself as, "assistant manager, Strickland propane." Hank is obviously conservative but he lives among a group of guys that are not like him at all, and it doesn't phase him.
The show is great because Hank is "Mr. dependability," and available to help in a world that sometimes seems so uncomfortable to him. Think about the non-conservative things he deals with: trailor park niece, womanizing boss, an affair going on before his eyes, woman priest dating Bill, foreigners for neighbors, and all types of things that the writers put before him.
I think the show is like "All in the Family," and that Hank's character is like an updated Archie Bunker. I've rambled on long enough: Hank is just funny.
