What 5 players would you choose to start a NBA team?

If I was to start a NBA team, I would take Gilbert Arenas, Kobe Bryant, Dwayne Wade, Dwight Howard, and Amare Stoudamire.....Even though the NBA is full of stars with unbelievable talent, I think that even the All-Star Game dosen't showcase every great player in the league. This is open for discussion.

With a startin five like that, you won't even need an alternate, good response though. Thanks

If I had to start a NBA franchise with just 5 NBA players I would choose.
PG-Steve Nash (2-Time MVP)
SG-Kobe Bryant (3 NBA Titles,1 all-start MVP)
SF-LeBron James (I think you know why)
PF-Kevin Garnett(1 MVP,all-star MVP)
C-Tim Duncan (3 NBA Titles)
I picked Steve Nash because hes todays hottest point guard and look at him and the Suns now with their players but then you have Kobe and LeBron running with him thats very scary. Also a low post presence defensively and offensively in Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett. They all got plenty of playoff experience except LeBron but it would payoff. There may be better line ups but this is my idea of a championship calibur team.

You can't wrong with those 5 players, who knows what Lebron will do with his bright future and with Duncan,Nash,Bryant and KG already established, this team could put a beating on someone.

LeBron James
Kobe Bryant
Steve Nash
Dwyane Wade
Ben Wallace
it was hard to choose but these were my decisions, bw isnt very good on offence but he has some unbelievable rebounding and blocking skillz. sn would be the playmaker, im sure he would throw some nice alley oops towards kobe wade and lbj, would be a team that would be very entertaining

I think your wrong. Nowhere near right. First off you need somebody nonselfish at point guard. That would mean 2 time reigning mvp (maybe a 3rd) STEVE NASH how do you leave him out? Then I'd put dwade, KG, Amare, and then the last guy would have to be Gilbert Areans. How do you put in Dwight Howard over the unselfish best player in the league. KG doesn't make your list? Are you crazy. Anyways I believe my line up would own because I have 3 unselfish players in my opinion. Also I like how you left out Lebron that guys over rated!
