Shouldnt people adopt childs instead of dogs

A dog, cat, or other pet is less responsibility than a child. People should only adopt children or animals if and when they are ready for that level of responsibility. Animals need homes too. I have one cat, and I'm comfortable with him. I wouldn't want to have a child, though. I don't feel I'm ready for that, and I may never be ready for that.

no because and child is a life long responsability and a much much more expensize. People want a pet who doesnt speak and eat money rather than a kid.

Children are more responsibility and not all people are capable or prepared to take that responsibility. Most dogs are happy to get food and some attention. with children that is not enough.

No i dont think so . how can u compare a dog with a human being , a dog has its own importance, it safe guards your house can a human being do that can a adopted child do that. dog shows loyalty towards you. how can u tell that an adopted child will show loyalty he may betray you ,you cant assure that he will support you always. i am not completly against it but each of them has its own importance.they are uncomparable.

I had a child, my life revolved around his activities and problems for over 19 years. I have dogs, they are wonderful companions that require minimal attention. They get walked 2-3 times a day for about 30-40 minutes. They do out about 3 other times, the get feed twice. Food is kibble, water and their medications. They don't play hockey, soccer, golf, t-ball, tennis. They don't require baby sitters, trip to sports camps, summer camps or school projects. Their is a big difference in the commitment made when adopting a dog vs a child. At this stage of my life, I can commit to a dog, but not a child. No one would give me a child, I am too old, but I am not too old for a dog. But I agree, people should not breed dogs for pets, there are already enough dogs that need homes.

its every bodys decision you cant compare a child with a animal you have much more responsabilitys,and maybe people get dogs to see if their responsably enough and to see if they can take care of them,this way they can now for sure if their ready to have children and anyway you cant compare animals to children............
