Which one do you prefer, Blu-Ray Disc or HD-DVD ?

Storage media is getting advance, two side is on the warzone. Which one do you prefer to replace the DVD

I prefer HD-DVD because if we use Blu-ray that has different type with DVD, then I have to re-backup all my data to this Blu-ray, but if I use HD-DVD, I might open my data in DVD with the HD-DVD's reader.

Honestly, I don't have a good idea yet. There is a need to weigh pros and cons. It so happens that I cannot come to a decision because, I am not familiar as regards the works of Blu-Ray, in fact, this is the first time I have heard of it, the 23rd of March year 2007.
