fake accounts in orkut

yeah i think its a bit difficult task to achieve , orkut cannot ask their users to provide real information , many will still provide the same fake .

The problem is that the Orkut moderation or supervising team is basically very inefficient or maybe even non-existent. So many false profiles, communities and spam get throuhg without any problem...

yes, I think every new invention or development has some bad things again stepped and few get things against it. But we have to choose how we want to use the thing. I think there are many people specially the group of people who has bad intentions create lot of fake profiles on orkut so that they can interact with other person without getting caught. And that is why we the members of the site get many mains telling us not to add those people as our friends whom we don't know because if such a thing is found and a person in your friend's list is connected with any crime then you can be interrogated by the police. So it is always better to be safe and added only those people whom you know.

i think that u r right. the fake accounts are spoiling the game of orkut. fake accounts are of no use and they r of no value to orkut too. they should stop this as this will later on earn a bad name for orkut. this should be stopped and all the profiles should be banned.

yes fake accounts are really the worst part in orkut....
