e-gold is the better option as they are backed by genuine gold.you can invest them in hyip and watch your e-gold grow.then exchange e-gold at a nominal rate from any exchanger.whereas paypal has a greater minimum payout.i live in a coutry where e-gold is supported and moreover you can exchange a minimum of even 10$us from any exchanger where it is not possible in paypal.so e-gold is the better option.moreover e-gold has the widest coverage around the world.thanks

If i have a choice i would say that i will choose paypal as my mode of payment, but since im from the Philippines i can't withdraw funds from my paypal account thereby i am force to use e-gold as my payment mode. I believe that paypal is more convinient to use compared to e-gold, in paypal, you could directly send your money to your bank account or buy stuff in the internet or make payment online. While in e-gold, you have to find a site in your country that can convert your e-gold currency and send it to your bank account. Though more and more sites nowadays accept e-gold as a form of payment.

It depends on where you live, If paypal support your country and you can send and receive money from paypal account, I think paypal will fit your need. If paypal does not support your country you have no choise, e-gold is the answer. E-gold is harder to cash out, you have to find a dealer to do this and usually they charge you a lot of money.

I use paypal. Its free if you sign up for a personal buyer's account. You can receive money to that account too but a limited sum per month.

I don't like e-gold. Its troublesome to add funds to your e-gold account. You have to go to some outlets to add funds to your account and also you got to pay a fee for the services.
With paypal its all linked to your bank account. No hassle no fees.

Honestly, I would recommend you to have both accounts. The advantage of having both accounts allows you to fall back on another account if the website or organisation does not support any one of them. So my pick is to have both of them!
Hope this helps!:)
