in our office we are allowed to wear only salwar.ours is an advertising agency and this makes me really sick to wear this to office everyday.we are not allowed to wear jeans or even full skirts.i dont understand why they cant change their attitude.aslong as we dress decently,i dont see a reason why they insist on wearing salwar to office.it is not my usual dress and i hate to wear it.we have our own identity and we should be allowed to wear what we want though decent wear.

We have dress code in the office..We need to wear smart casual outfit since many foreign businessmen comes in and out in our building..But its only from Mon-Thur. We're allowed to wear jeans during fridays and those who works on graveyard shift.

hi friend, it depends on working environment and type of company it is.
In some companies they may force or may not.
But a bit i think except some restrictions dress code should not be there as we can get freeness in the air.

I'm in school right now, but for some parts of my classes I have to observe professionals in the work setting. For that I have to wear khakis, a belt, and a tucked in polo shirt. I hate it. I am very much a jeans and tshirt guy and I feel very uncomfortable in those clothes.
