is there another planet like earth in the galaxy?

With the billions of stars in our galaxy I don't really see how we could be alone. I would not even like to think it. If the odds are one in a million that there is other life in our galaxy than the odds are a million to one that there is.

Yes there is but we cant see it even using the telescope. We know that there are other galaxies that exist so there might be other planets that exist.

i agree with Chiang...there are just too many other galaxies out there for there NOT to be another planet that sustains life. and thats only considering what we are able to see, we obviously havent found the "end of the universe" so that just means there are uncountable numbers of possiblities out there, that we dont even know about yet. so i say yes, there has got to be life on other planets somewhere! lol
