Here we go AGAIN??? The same topics over and over!!! Please do a Search!!

I saw a few days ago here where the same topic(almost word for word) was posted by two people within 3 seconds of each other!! I do agree that there are alot of reposting of old topics and that people should be encouraged to search more.

Having a hard time finding discussions to respond to or is this something that you just noticed again. Myself I meet new people when I answer a handful of the same subject. They are usually worded a bit differently so that helps to expound on the original topic! Sorry that this has aggrevated you. Wishing for calm to enter into your days here at Mylot!! I agree with you. It's just a little efford that we all are able to make.

I have to admit that the search hasn't worked the best for me. *laugh* I realized belatedly that I posted about a news story that someone on my friend list had posted about a day or two before me, when I was going through my friend's topics, because i was so behind (and am even more behind now, because of being offline most of yesterday.) and I did a search on certain words in that news tory before i posted it, trying to make certain that no one had posted it before me, and had not come up with anything. But i agree that in the sense of really general topics, it's not too hard to find out that your idea has already been posted about. ^_^
