I think computer games actually developed high skills in a person. This is because it coordinates out mental and physical. Thus giving gamers well coordination between both.
However, i believe that too much of games can also lead to negative effects. For example to the eyes and also it may caused migrain or whatsoever since it couldn't get much of rest.

yes video games + hours of play can= to a better understanding of the concept's and such in ever day life for example the Sim's game, that game teach what can happen either good or bad in life from getting a promotion to burning your house down because you could cook a simple meal correctly.

I think computer/video games are a waste of time the majority of time. There are learning games out there available for all systems. People just have to buy them.

I think it can be both. I know I sure spend alot of time on the internet but mostly for earning wise though. It is a very addictive thing but it can also be used for a good useful tool to earn or learn with. I have to make time out of my day every day to make sure I get things done around the house plus earn online.
I don't play playstation at all very much, but my husband and daughter do. I'm just glad they have something to do here rather than us go out and spend money all the time.

No don't think so.. you can be smart in playing game.
I think gamers are actually more street-smart than people who bury their heads in the books
