Gingoog city is a quiet city in Northern Mindanao a little off the beatten path that most tourist know about.

ive been to Gingoog once. we stayed there for 2 night s to conduct our study in class. we urveyed the mnagrove sanctuary there and it was kindda fun. it is a bit laid bck compared to the other cities in northern Mindanao. It's pretty peaceful in this place.

Thats just what I'm looking for a laid back simple lifestyle and to enjoy the area without all the busy hussle of large city life.

Seems a really nice place to take a visit. Actually I never heard about it before, It is my first time to known such nice place thanks to livingtwist!

I was for me as well when I first heard of and the more I learned about the better I like it. I has the sense and air of days pasts and not moved so quickly in to the new high tech busy era of many larger more travelled cities. They seem to have kept many of good things from past and people seem to respect the traditional ways while moving into the new age.

Is your city not affected by the presence of rebel groups in Mindanao?

Although I haven't been there I'm told that that it is far remove for the rebel activies much further south and in the central part of Mindanao.

Yes, a quite one... You will see when you will stay here and PEOPLE living here have a simple lifestyle unlike in other big cities in Philippines. OH yes, this city is surrounded by many falls and nice overlooking views, this city is along the city shore too. Gingoog City is in between cities of CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY and in BUTUAN CITY

From the photo's you have sent me and pictures and articles I've found on the internet, I'm sure this is the tropical paradise I'm looking for. And of course there is a special someone there that has my love, so I'm sure this is my paradise.

yes i agree.. Gingoog City is a nice place, its making a progree thoughout the years. if u live in a highland or just an elevated area you will see the beauty of Gingoog Bay. =))

I've seen the photos of views from the country side over looking the city and the bay. Its a beautiful view and am looking forward to being there.
