When I go to bed, My cat stands next to my head and nudges at the blankets until I lift it a bit and she crawls under and sleeps in my armpit all curled up. She has always slept on me in bed but only the last couple years she has wanted under the blankets. She is about 8 years old and I think her bones are starting to ache a little and she likes the heat under the blankets. What do you do for your cats that is unnusual?

We have one that does just that. Another one will
shred every roll of toilet paper if we don't hide
them. Another will bang the cabinet door where his
food is, to let us know he's hungry.

My cat attacks and chews on toilet paper rolls. I haven't figured out why, we just keep them will hidden from her. She'll carry it around, and bat it around the house before attacking it and chewing on it. She'll just rip pieces out of it all over it.

All we can figure is that it feels good
on their claws and it smells good. If
it's scented.

well, my one cat, Smokey, he will bang his head up on anything in front of his head whenever something is there. Well sometimes my Dad lays on the floor since it is bigger than the couch to stretch out a bit. Smokey comse up and lays on his stomach. My Dad says "get him of mme, please" so i put my feet out in front of his head, and he takes a step, hits them, takes another step, hits them, and so on until he is off my dads belly and next to him instead.

My cat does that too, but I won't let him under the covers as he always gets down there then freaks out.
My cat has his own drinking water in a glass next to my bed. If it is empty, he will sit next to it and look at you. Then I say OK and I have to get up and get him water. Just like a husband.

Wow, ours drink out of our glasses and then it gets donated to them. lol So we end up with several around just for them. When the water gets low, they dip their paws in and lick it off their paw. Its Funny to see them squish their faces in the glass trying to reach the water too, and watching their tongues reach way out.

When my cat spots a glass of water, he has to knock it over so he can lick it up from the floor!

I spoil my kitty, Zoe. She is my baby! She sleeps with me every night - sometimes under the cover, sometimes by my feet and sometimes right up on the pillow next to my head. She likes to "knead" me with her paws to make me softer! *hah* I let her give me kisses and she nudges me with her head if she wants more kisses. She is a big talker and will let me know if her food bowl is empty - she will also try to trick me into thinking its empty but really wants me to give her treats or wet food. I let her lay on me (on my chest) when we are watching TV too.
She follows me everywhere. If I am in one room, I can look over and she will be curled in a ball sleeping nearby. If I get up and go into another room - about 3 minutes later I will look over and there she is again, sleeping in a ball closeby. If I go into a room and close the door.. she will come and scratch for me to let her in. If the house is dark and she can't find me - she cries until I call her. She also comes better than my dogs. If I call her, she always comes running and I can hear her little bell ringing around her neck. She also likes to puuurrrr all the time. She's like a little motorboat.
If we have visitors, she will go right up to them and stand on her back legs trying to reach their hands - like she wants to introduce herself. She is not shy at all and loves people.
She also LOVES our dogs. She likes to sleep right next to them and thye are BIG dogs too. She isn't afraid of anything.
I love her like she's my own baby. She's a siamese mix by the way with gorgeous blue eyes.

She sounds like one of a kind, although she reminds me of Tabitha in a way, who used to like to sleep under the blankets at night and follow me around the house.

Our cat is ROTTEN! He is pampered more than any human in the house! If he wants to sit in your' spot, we all move and let him sit there. I don't know how it began. He was a rescue two years ago and had been treated terribly. We have catered to his every whim since he arrived. I guess we just wanted him to know love at first and gave him his way in all things and then it just became habbit for us.

My cat does that too. I think that's pretty common. I wish I could get her to sleep on her little bed... I remember the first night she spent here, she was tiny and she didn't want to be alone, so I put her bed next to my bed. I went to sleep and she climbed onto the bed. I got up and put her on her bed, went back to sleep. Five minutes later she climbed onto the bed again. I spent the entire night like this and around 6 AM, the sun was already rising, it was a weekday and I didn't get any sleep, so I gave up and tried to enjoy an hour of sleep! Since then, she always sleeps in my bed. In the Winter, she cuddles up and tries to evict me from my own bed! (How dare she! =o All pets do this,as far as I can tell, with couches, chairs, beds...) But in the Summer, she just sleeps at the feet of the bed or on the floor.

Its nice to know that I found someone who really appreciate cats. I have a lot of cats who came from neigbors, some of them came from the streets. Before I took my meal, I make sure that my cats are eating their meals too. They slept with me. There are times I couldnt pull my blanket because they are sleeping. My mom sometimes get mad because my cats are all on my bed, but she couldnt do anything because she knew how I love cats. There are times my cat was not around and I was in the school, my mom will try to look for my cat to fed because she know that I will get mad.

one of my two boys, the oldest cat likes to lay down ON my face lol. Usually I let him plop on my face, but make sure I can keep my nose un-clogged with fur. Eventually the deeper sleep he goes, he slides off my face and to my side. My other kitty, the youngest I'll 'wash' his fur by sticking my fingers in a cup of water and smoothing it over his fur..I did this when he was a baby when couldn't clean his white fur up too well..and only do it now 'cause he still purrs when I do it lol.

you don't have to care much of your cat because cats usually know to take care of themselves.

My cat will never come to me because i sometime make some harsh movements over it so due to that when my cat see me it will run to its destiny and finally turn back for a moment and start contuning its work.

my cat sleeps with me, too...he has to be touching me, whether it's laying a paw over my arm, sometimes around my neck, or just snuggled right up under my arm with my arm over him...in fact, i have a really hard time going to sleep if he's not there....but i'd say 99 percent of the time, all i have to do is say let's go to bed, and he's on the bed before i am!..lol..he gets his treats, too, he has to have his "supper" which is his canned food, whenever i come home, no matter what time it is...he's just spoiled rotten and i love it that way!

Well we have a cat that we buy a can of sardines and have a 3 days meal..he sleeps on the bed on the feet side and he watches tv with us..He also pees and poo on the bathroom..so he's typically the clean house cat..we all love him and treat him as a family who can understand. he gets a spanking as well when he's bad..so he knows what is good and bad.

Not only do I have to pull back the blanket for him, I have to pull it back, roll onto my side and stick my arm out, so he can drape himself over it just right, stick his paws straight out and stick them under my head, and jam his face up under my chin. If I don't let him under the blanket or get into the right position, he has a complete anxiety attack and starts pawing and scratching at me, licking my face and practically screaming! He has a bit of an unnatural attachment to me. LOL
