Domestic violence

Hi...This discussion is a private one, but still I wish to know some things. 1. Why do men beat their wives?? The most cases i have seen are irrational...I don;t want to say that men are scums...but still...why do they cause most fights?... 2. I know this can affect children, but what can someone do to escape the psichological side - effects? 3. What can children do to stop domestic violence?

most women don't ask for help simply because they don't want to make waves, reporting to the police and broadcasting their family issues. Besides there's always a reward for punishment. This is a family problem and nobody has the right to step in whatever they do in their house. This kind of mentality is still existing, although there are some women who are courageous enought to ask help from the authorities.

I agree, but nowadays people have become more and more aware of the importance of preventing domestic violence. It does not affect only the husband or the wife, but also their children. I think women should take a stand and think of what is more imoportant : to have a roof over their head or to really take care of the little ones?
