you can talk about hurricane Katrina here. What are your views. Did you lose anybody. Did President Bush do enough to help? Will it ever be right again? Anything on topic!

I feel bad for the victims of Katrina, and any other hurricane..It is A sad thing, and as with oldbuddy,I do not see why someone would want to live where they know there are hurricanes,That could easily rip there house aparts, kill them, and make them lose everything that they have owned,I am not for sure if Bush did A good job,or not..I do not think he did,though...I have never liked Bush,Though,And I also do not think that anything around will ever be the same again, after the war,Hurrican Katrina, and all of the disasters, that are going on in the world today,I would have to say nothing will ever be the same,Especiall since what Bush has gotten us into...And no I did not lose anyone in Hurricane Katrina, and I am glad I did not,I do not even think I have anyone that is in my family,or in my friends that lived down there, but I just hope that the people that did lose something, and was in it are O.K. now.

I lost my aunt on top of the Saint Bernard parish jail. She was in a convelesent home and that's where they evacuated her to. We did'nt find out where she was until about 10 days later after the storm. R.I.P. to all of the victems of that horrific storm.

The simple lack of communication that went on was terrible, some would argue there was suspicious circumstances, although it's the people that really matters.

I didnt lose anyone, but I think Bush could have done more to help. The help he did provide seemed to trail off as the months wore on. Two or three groups from my college went down during christmas and spring break to help clean up and lift spirits.

well i live in florida and we do NOT live here for the hurricanes, thats for sure. hurricane season is only a few months out of the year, and no one expects it to hit right where they live, theyre not that bad, only once in awhile.

Katrina was a devastation. This country needs to be better prepared for natural disasters whether it be hurricanes, tornados, volcanos, or 20 ft of snow. The year before in Fl was no better. I'm sure New orleans will recover eventually but it's going to take quite a while especially with the government's funding plan. Where are you in FL?
