Its still around, but for the most part its faded out. Firefox uses its Gecko engine and is supported much more. It used to be easily the second biggest browser but since Firefox started using that engine and developing Firefox more, it has taken over.

It is still being used today. Still pretty much alive out there. It's just because Internet Explorer comes with Windows, and Firefox is (claimed) more stable and reliable that people are as if forgetting about Netscape. Plus, with other browsers like Safari and Opera getting their fame.
I recently installed Netscape because my Firefox was exploited by virus (see, Firefox still not the best one out there!), but then i uninstalled it after gotten tired of its very slow performance.

The Netscape browser is still there. Go to netscape.com and you can find a link to download it, but it's a lot different now. I think AOL bought it. I remember when it came on a floppy disc and you had to buy it! Now you couldn't fit it on a dozen floppies.

Hummmm. You are right. i wonder where has it gone to. Same thing with the most popular word editor (WordPerfect). What is actually happening to those ones. Has Microsoft subsumed all those competitors? There is another word editor i used to know that time. AmiPro. I doubt it if anyone ever remember them.
