Favourite German Sheperd Trait

My GSD is very protective and thats what I love the most. Once she knows someone she remembers them and they are fine to enter our house but if she doesn't know them they had better watch out or she may chew their hand off if they stick their hand in the door. She is not aggressive but protective. If she knows them she is fine. She hardly barks, she watches. But she will growl. She is great and loving but very protective of her people and property.

i love german sheperds, i love my one...shes funny, but i love her funny ears...her ear furr is really fluffy but it looks like i have used crimpers on it too....very funny

I have a German Shepherd too. What I like most about her is her loyalty and how loving she is. She has adopted my grandson and heaven forbid if anybody would ever try to harm him. This is my first Shepherd, I used to have Great Danes before.

I really like the coat of a german sheperd. flossy, shinny and nearly perfect for a tip out doors! ahah haha.. I'm not really a dog fan but yeah, they are cool. =)

I had a German Shepard it was one that was stolen from a police k-9 unit training center. So she was picked because of her intelligence and they where grooming her for police work. My dad got it for me when i was about 10 and man was she smart. Too smart she would always find a way to leave our no matter what gates we had. She would always protect me when i walked her and she was never fully grown she was still young. She was protecting me from dogs such as the Pit bull's and the dog that comes out in bethoven. I liked that dog but my parents divorced and my dog hopped the fence never to be seen again.
