I am inclined to agree with this. As you can see there is going to be a lot of problem now. Right thing is such desire should have been expressed and fought for when Andhra Pradesh was being formed, and separated from Madras. It is not fair to make others suffer for our indecisions. If we do get Telangana, our own people would also suffer. Rice would reach almost 80 rupees a kilo, can we really afford that? Sugar would be about 60 or so. And gas, we would have problems in getting that aw well, and electricity. All software and BPO companies will set up offices in other states as there is no source of electricity within the Telangana region. By the time we come up with it, they would have all gone. So please, do not ask for something that is going to harm us. Government jobs are not adequate in numbers to feed the entire state's population. You dont want something specific, come out exclusively with that. But please dont create an antagonism towards us. The whole world is joining hands to do things collectively, look at North American nations, they have common rules for some things across Canada, the United States, and Mexico. Likewise, the United Kingdom has Scotland, Wales, England, and Northern Ireland. Here, we are talking about countries united to form a front to get some advantages. Why are we breaking down our State? Please understand that if things get worse, terrorists would find it easier to buy properties out here, and we will have a collective population of such elements here. They will not only terrorise us but also other people in the surrounding states. Please understand that we are short of armed personnel, and that we will be using them out here to keep things quiet rather than keeping them on front where they are really required. Please understand that with the limited monetary resources the only choice was to develop the city, and bring in foreigners with their companies so that students would get some jobs in future. Please understand that there have been plenty of roads that are set up in the region, plenty of schools, and colleges. Please understand that exploitation in the rural regions is being done not by Andhraites or Seemaites, but people from our own regions! Please understand that Manjira water supply, Krishna water supply, KPHB, International Airport, Hitech City, all cost monies, and ample has been spent. Please understand that we are becoming a laughing stock in front of others states like Kerala, Tamilnad, Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Karnataka. We dont have that kind of thing in South. Such fights are common only in Northern States. Please note that we have common music, the Karnatic, we dont teach our children Hindustai classical, do we? We use veenas, and not sitars. We dont get to send our children to Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, because of that difference. Please note why we are the same. Please note that if software companies set up offices here, the demand for housing will be more, salaries will be good, people will spend monies on food, clothing, and shelter, and therefore, the monies that go to maids, dhobis, drivers, vegetable vendors, doctors, engineers, accountants, shopkeepers, and many others will be more! That helps to increase the wealth of the region. If we break up that will all be gone in less than an year! Please think before you ask, it might just be given, and then there may be no retracing. Please think whether it was possible for the governments to have put those pipes in areas where naxalites wre more in numbers. Please come up with some facts and figures, and firm contracts for future employment. The present trend does not feel right.

I came across somebody saying people from outside are coming and stealing our opportunities. Are we not going abroad and taking up jobs? So are we not stealing there jobs. Are we not coming here and earning? So are we not taking away others monies and opportunities? BPO's and Software companies do not go by region, or nepotism. If you have the required skill sets, you will get a job anytime! You need to put in efforts to get those skills, that is all. Please note that if we reduce the population to about half, we will all be comfortably employed. So that is where the issue is coming from. Politicians never talk actual things fearing they will run out of partners. But it is true, isn't it? If in a house you have four members, and in another house you have only two members, obviously the household with two members will be more comfortable in all respects as they will be able to save better, buy better, live better. So that is one thing we need to talk about as educated people. Not fight amongst ourselves. :(

And please remember, Marri Chenna Reddy was from Telangana, as was T Anjaiah. So the required measures for the region should have come up in their reigns, did they? If not, please understand it is nothing but political stunt. Please give me a list of things that these two started for Telangana region.

That is not true at all! Hardly any taxes are collected from telangana region! Most of the taxes come from other region, and are poured into the capital city, and only taxes from here are used for developing the city and surroundings, and other parts of the state. I think you've been misled on this. Please read my post under 15th discussion box, and get the facts and figures. The actual picture is considerably different from what is told to you!
